Mediation & Mediation Prep
Our mediation process provides couples the opportunity to express individual concerns in a non-adversarial way. Our mediator helps facilitate communication and emotion during this difficult time. When couples are committed to mediation, they stay in control of the decisions surrounding their divorce, instead of a judge.
In addition to our mediation services, we now offer Mediation Prep, a tailored service designed to help individuals prepare for mediation and navigate the complexities of divorce with confidence. The Mediation Prep service provides personalized guidance on key aspects such as understanding the financial implications of divorce, clarifying property division and spousal support questions, preparing to discuss sensitive issues like child custody and parenting plans, and addressing emotional concerns and strategies for managing conflict during mediation.
Financial Expertise
Divorce is considered one of the largest financial transactions of a person’s life. Most attorneys aren’t tax or financial experts. Our CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®) will perform an analysis of the short and long-term financial impact of dividing assets, investment funds, taxes, and real estate. And, most importantly, works to achieve an equitable settlement.
Legal Support
Our team includes an in-house attorney who can answer questions you have about the legal side of divorce, without expensive fees. Our attorney also does all the legal drafting and filings and communicates potential pitfalls before submitting anything to the court.
Family Therapy
Divorce is an emotional process and something that no one plans for. Navigating towards a “new normal” can be painful, confusing and emotionally exhausting. Our family therapist provides support for healing and will help define post-divorce relationships.
Co-parenting Specialist
Divorce can be scary and confusing for children. Alot of change is happening and, depending on the age, children are susceptible to act out in fear and frustration. Keeping schedules as normal as possible is key for kids as they transition from one home to two. But how is that possible? We offer co-parenting support to help parents raise their children in two homes. Our goal is to help you be the best co-parents you can be, without post-divorce conflict.
